WHAT TO DO IN SUMMER?

Summer is near and there are a lot of students that ask me what they can do this summer. The answer is easy: BE HAPPY AND ENJOY YOURSELF.
But if you want to be happy and enjoy yourself studying English in London, I'll give you some information about it.

Answer English is a company that can help you to find the right English Course for you. They also give you information about accommodation. They helped us to find the School in London where our students went when we were in London during our Scholar Trip. If you are interested, send them an email. Don't forget to say that you're a student in EOI Puerto del Rosario and that Carolina gave you their email. I recommend you Answer English. They find you courses and help you without asking for money. So send them an email with your inquires. There are people there that speak Spanish!!!!!!.
LANGUAGE IN LONDON is the name of the School where our students attended some English lesson. They liked a lot and the teachers are realli nice. Here it is the email just in case you want to send them an email. In the LIBRARY you have a leaflet with more information and the prices. Ask Carolina Ramos for more information.

LIBRARY

Dear Students,
It's a pleasure to announce that our EOI Puerto del Rosario has a LIBRARY. It's located in ROOM ZERO which is just next to the Teachers Room. The timetable or schedule is in the classrooms but I'll write it down here:

MONDAY: 17-18 20-21
TUESDAY: 9-10
WEDNESDAY: 9-10 17-18 20 21
THURSDAY. 9-10

The idea of having a Library in our EOI is due to the work of a group of teachers (Juan Santana, David Suarez, Ana Rivero, Ana Rodriguez, Guadalupe Esquinas y Carolina Ramos). It's a Work Group that was proposed by the Dirección General de Ordenación e Innovación Educativa de la Consejería de Educación del Gobierno de Canarias. The main aim is to have a place where we can meet, study and borrow books, films, magazines, etc. We need your collaboration in order to make the Library work. Our dream is to have a bigger place and a proper Library but we need your help. We need that you use the Library and take an active part in the activities we'll propose.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!

SCHOLAR TRIP TO LONDON

Some students from the EOI Puerto del Rosario and AEOI Jandia went to London from March 11th until March 18th. The English teachers Carolina Ramos and David Suárez organized this trip. We were 30 people and we stayed at the Royal National Hotal. This hotel was located in the city centre and there was a tube station near.

We had fun and we enjoyed a lot. The weather was quite good. It didn't rain and the temperature was about 12 degrees. At night it was cold.

London is a wonderful city and there are a lot of things to do. Some students went to musicals and went shopping. But they also visited museums and the main attractions. They worked hard because they had four hour lessons with a native teacher. The first lesson took place at the British Museum and the second was at the Language in London School. They liked the experience. In this trip there were included three trips with native guides. The trips were organized by The London Walks. On Thursday we did the Westminster and Westend Tour. Then on Friday night it was the Ghosts of the Old City Tour and finally on Sunday it was the tour to Greenwich.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH SIMON, ADAM and FEDORA FOR THESE ENJOYBLE AND UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCES!!!!!!
The students worked hard during this trip because they wrote a diary and read an English book. You're going to read these diaries soon.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH to all the students because they made David and I feel really happy and proud of them.

IT WAS AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE FOR US AND WE WOULD LIKE TO REAPEAT IT AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
